Ros Fereday – Artist

I live in a beautifully quiet rural location near the coast of Cromer Norfolk where I am surrounded by nature in all its glory.

The immediate environment of open fields, woodlands, coastline and agricultural activity provide continual inspiration for my work where I see changing patterns created around me within a variety of landscapes.

I initially studied graphics at college but life and a very busy career in the charity sector took over my time and I did not return to any form of creative activity until I retired from full time work. This welcome and renewed space allowed me the time and energy to rekindle my interest in art once again and provide the opportunity to develop my current style of work.

My work is all hand drawn using fine line archive pens, watercolour paint and soluble inks. It is a very meditative process which brings a real sense of calm to life.
